Our Mission
1The mission of CTEF is to work with and influence the local educational system through community and industry partnerships. The establishment of the Academy of Engineering at East Lake High School formed the cornerstone of its success and is the driving force for introducing its “Footprint for Sustainability” to all levels of education.
Career Academy Model
2Career Technical Education Foundation, Inc. (CTEF) introduces a dual education system combining theoretical and practical knowledge into Career Academies. This change is revolutionizing the level of competence in our workforce and dramatically increase our competitiveness in the global economy.
Workforce Development
3The development of a certified Career Academy Dual System training program keeps students engaged in the educational process. This allows them to smoothly enter the world of work while furthering their knowledge and skill-sets. Cultural prosperity and social development are dependent upon the importance we attach to education in our country.
World Of Engineering
4Engineers and engineering technologists are problem solvers. These men and women apply what we know from math and science to solve the complex challenges of the 21st century. Demand exists and is expected to grow over the next 25 years. Already, there are more jobs for skilled individuals than there are people trained to fill them.
